Resident Visitor Permit Information

  1. All residents living within a controlled parking zone are entitled to apply for virtual resident visitor permits (including residents of car free housing developments).

    Each household is entitled to a maximum of 520 hours per rolling 12 month period.

    Households with a minimum of 1 resident over the age of 60 or a new born baby up to 3 months old are automatically entitled to 30 free additional visitor parking hours per 12 month period. To obtain this, click here for New Borns, or or click here for Over 60s

    Charges will apply for additional parking sessions.

    You will need to supply:

    • 2 proofs of address dated within the last 3 months.

    • for free permits - proof of age (for 'over 60's'), birth certificate or hospital birth record (for new borns).

    Photographs of documents will be accepted if you do not have access to a scanner.

    Visitor permits are single vehicle specific, and not transferable and must be validated according to the instructions.

    Virtual visitor permits are not subject to refund.

  3. Applying for a permit online is a three stage process, firstly you need to register with RingGo, then complete the permit application form and once that has been approved you can purchase your permit.
