Lewisham permit applications are authenticated during the application process by checking various databases to verify that you live at the supplied address. If you pass the verification your application will be instantly approved.
If you do not pass these checks, don’t worry. It may be that you aren’t credited as the main bill payer in the household so your name doesn’t match the address with the authentication programmes. You will, however, be asked to upload document proofs to support that you live at the supplied address.
Once you have submitted these proofs, all applications are reviewed by NSL Services (on behalf of London Borough of Lewisham Council) and not RingGo. It can take up to five working days for NSL Services to accept or decline your application. During this time your application status will show as 'Pending'.
Once your application has been authorised, you will receive two emails notifying you of the status change and providing further information. If your application is declined then one email will be sent with the reason for your application being declined.
You are only able to purchase your permit once the application has been authorised.
